Patrician Brothers’ came to St Bernadette’s on Wednesday to show their support for the St Bernadette’s community during this time of loss.
The staff and students from Patrician Brothers’ wanted to do something for the children that would help show that the extended community is with them in solidarity at this hard time.
The team led by Santo Passarello organised and ran a BBQ lunch for the students and staff whilst providing musicians for entertainment. This was a fun afternoon showing the students that others care.
We thank the Patrician Brothers’ community for this heartfelt gesture. Bringing some food, musicians and fun to what has been a challenging time for the community. It affirming to know that we stand together as a Catholic community.

On our Reconciliation Celebration Day, we were blessed to have Uncle Brad come and talk with all the students to deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture. He shared Indigenous tools, their purpose and significance and also how they are made. Our students loved this time, especially being able to watch how these tools were made. This term our Year 2, Year 3 and Indigenous students, K-6, participated in the CAPTIVATE 'HoneyBee' Dance Program, spanning over 6 weeks. The program provided a wonderful opportunity for these students to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture through dance. We loved watching the performances and seeing the absolute joy on the faces of our students and the pride of their teachers as they shared their learning. πππππππππππ

Congratulations to all our super athletes who won Age Champions and Runner Up Age Champions! Our Athletics Carnival was a great day for our students to develop their skills, all the while having some fun. We were so proud of everyone on the day - especially those who participated in all the events and showed great sprotsmanship! A HUGE thanks to all the staff who made this event possible, especially Miss Savva and Miss Callanta, along with our parent helpers on the day. Happy Happy Birthday to all our JUNE babies! They have been enjoying birthday parties with friends at home, at Timezone, at the park and of course celebrating with family out at their faviourite restaurants, including McDonalds! They loved their presents, some requested and some surprises; and of course they enjoyed eating lots of birthday cake! Here's to another year if fun, family and growth!
