In Kindergarten we are answering the question ‘Why does caring for others bring us closer to God?’
So far this term we have been busy learning about all of the gifts God has given us in Creation by exploring Scripture.
This week students in Kindergarten are learning how to identify God’s family and what it looks like. Students were each given a balloon to blow up and release into the air.
Apart from this being extremely fun, it signified how everyone in God’s family is different and goes different ways and does different things, but God’s love for each of us is the same.
The students had a great time with the activity. Thank you Miss Antonelli for a fantastic lesson!

What a beautiful way to start the holidays …. Mrs Liu and her husband welcomed gorgeous little Avery to the world early Friday (yesterday) morning. And surprise, surprise Avery is a little princess (we were all expecting a little prince, including Mrs Liu)!!! This year our total stands at 2 little princes and 2 little princesses!!! Thanks everyone for another fantastic term at St Bernadette’s, now it’s time to relax and reboot ready for Term 4!! Ruby and Weetbix loved visiting everyone today and can’t wait to come back!! From our littlest students to our most senior students. Thanks to Stage 3, Mrs Mogan, Miss Atachparian & Mrs Chand for sharing their RE learning for the term so respectfully and prayerfully in the church!!! It was so beautiful to witness the care and respect our students showed throughout their liturgy. It was obvious that they were invested in this time through their hands on planning and organising.
