Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!

Happy happy birthday to all our beautiful SEPTEMBER birthday friends!!!! They have all had AMAZING celebrations with family and friends. What a beautiful way to start the holidays β¦. Mrs Liu and her husband welcomed gorgeous little Avery to the world early Friday (yesterday) morning. And surprise, surprise Avery is a little princess (we were all expecting a little prince, including Mrs Liu)!!! This year our total stands at 2 little princes and 2 little princesses!!! From our littlest students to our most senior students. Thanks to Stage 3, Mrs Mogan, Miss Atachparian & Mrs Chand for sharing their RE learning for the term so respectfully and prayerfully in the church!!! It was so beautiful to witness the care and respect our students showed throughout their liturgy. It was obvious that they were invested in this time through their hands on planning and organising.
