Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!

Our school was founded by the Josephite Sisters many years ago and it was a beautiful opportunity to reconnect to our educational roots. Like St Mary MacKillop, we are dedicated to providing a quality Catholic education for everyone who walks through our doors. Determined to educate our children with love, faith and compassion!!! Kindy did such a gorgeous job in presenting their work from Term 1 in their first ever Celebration of Learning on the last day of term!!! A huge thank you to Mrs Brothers and the Stage 3 FIAT Team for all their work in preparing for this important event and then running it. Itβs time to celebrate all our MARCH BIRTHDAYS - happy happy birthday to you all!!! It has been a fabulous month of celebrations with families and friends at wonderful locations like Area51, Flip Out, bowling and at home. These guys have shared cup cakes, lolly bags, Krispy Kreme & Zooper Doopers with their friends at school they have and eaten a lot of cake, including my favourite chocolate!!!
