Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!

Thanks to the students and teachers who prepared this liturgy together to invite us into their learning for the term so far. Wowsers after getting active at the Institute, they have now moved onto Old Parliament House. Word on the street, from all the tour guides, is that our students have been very well prepared and have so much knowledge and understanding of Government already!!
