Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!
Thank you to Marg for helping to create our wonderful mural and to the SRC with Ms Ninness for organising our school prayer.

I had the absolute pleasure of sharing in the Stage 2 Liturgy on Wednesday afternoon. Thanks to the students and teachers who prepared this liturgy together to invite us into their learning for the term so far. Thanks also to the many parents, grandparents and friends who came along to join us in prayer! It was a beautiful celebration. πππ»πππ»πππ»πππ»πππ»28 Aug 2026

We love having events at school in which we can have parents, grandparents and friends join us to celebrate the learning of our children. Thankfully the rain held out enough that we could share lunch with you! Or Infants and Primary Dance groups also loved sharing their work with an audience. Well done teams. ππππππππππ
