Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!
Thank you to Marg for helping to create our wonderful mural and to the SRC with Ms Ninness for organising our school prayer.

Our students had so much fun learning the Japanese words for the different parts of the body. Mrs Filan used a directed drawing lesson to integrate the Japanese language. Great drawings everyone!! ππ―π΅ππ―π΅ππ―π΅ππ―π΅ππ―π΅13 Mar 2026
