Today, along with 6275 other schools, St Bernadette’s took a stand against bullying and violence.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
Our day commenced with our School Representative Council leading each stage in prayer. We participated in activities that help arm our students with the ability to combat bullying and violence in their day to day lives.
The resources we used for activities throughout each of our learning spaces aim to help students understand and recognise what bullying is, how to report it, and where to get help.
The students also created a wonderful mural to stand together today to say BULLYING. NO WAY!

It is with great joy and sunshine that I can share the safe arrival of baby Fajloun - Noah Haidar. Mrs Fajloun and baby Noah are doing well, Noah just needing a little extra support to help him along, but all is well! Noah weighed in at a healthy 4.35kg; and just look at those adorable cheeks!! Is time to celebrate all our APRIL BIRTHDAYS- happy happy birthday to you all!!! We had parties at Timezone, the movies, even Korean BBQ. We canβt wait to see all our amazing students return tomorrow!!! Today our staff took some time to reflect, learn and pray at Mary MacKillop Place - St Mary MacKillopβs final resting place. Our school was founded by the Josephite Sisters many years ago and it was a beautiful opportunity to reconnect to our educational roots.
