Yoga with Stage 2

This week in Stage 2 focused on mindfulness and learned about the benefits of yoga. Stage 2 practiced mindful breathing, inhaling and exhaling deeply.

In pairs, they then talked about five things that they could hear, touch and smell while their eyes were closed. After the warm up, Stage 2 practiced different yoga poses and explored new poses in small groups.

Stage 2 have been creating growth mindset posters to reflect on their favourite thing about themselves and to keep them inspired throughout the term which are displayed in the Stage 2 space.
