For writing this term, Stage 3 have been focussing on writing Informative Texts.
To get a better understanding of what information goes in an informative text, students explored the features of different types of informative texts such as biographies, newspaper articles and reviews.
Students worked collaboratively in groups to unpack and annotate the features of different types of informative texts.
Throughout our writing unit, the students were engaged and had so much fun, reading and researching about a topic of their choice to write about.
After researching their information, students followed a writing process of drafting, editing and refining their work before publishing their final copy!
