While awaiting our carpet delivery, we worked on updating other parts of the learning space.
We have new display boards throughout the space which has allowed us to create more zones for students to access.
After careful consideration and a touch of heavy lifting, our updated room is looking fantastic. Yesterday the students moved back into the learning space and their reactions were priceless! Already students are utilising the new spaces and getting on with their hard thinking.
The Kindergarten team and students would like to thank everyone involved in creating such an amazing learning environment and we can’t wait to spend more time learning within the space.

Stage 2 did a beautiful job of sharing their Religious learning for the term through their Stage 2 Liturgy. On our Reconciliation Celebration Day, we were blessed to have Uncle Brad come and talk with all the students to deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture. He shared Indigenous tools, their purpose and significance and also how they are made. Our students loved this time, especially being able to watch how these tools were made. This term our Year 2, Year 3 and Indigenous students, K-6, participated in the CAPTIVATE 'HoneyBee' Dance Program, spanning over 6 weeks. The program provided a wonderful opportunity for these students to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture through dance. We loved watching the performances and seeing the absolute joy on the faces of our students and the pride of their teachers as they shared their learning. πππππππππππ

Congratulations to all our super athletes who won Age Champions and Runner Up Age Champions! Our Athletics Carnival was a great day for our students to develop their skills, all the while having some fun. We were so proud of everyone on the day - especially those who participated in all the events and showed great sprotsmanship! A HUGE thanks to all the staff who made this event possible, especially Miss Savva and Miss Callanta, along with our parent helpers on the day. Happy Happy Birthday to all our JUNE babies! They have been enjoying birthday parties with friends at home, at Timezone, at the park and of course celebrating with family out at their faviourite restaurants, including McDonalds! They loved their presents, some requested and some surprises; and of course they enjoyed eating lots of birthday cake! Here's to another year if fun, family and growth!
