St Bernadette’s has a spectacular new Adventure Playground which is a purpose designed space. This provides our infants students with a fresh and exciting space to discover and play in during recess and lunch.
We now have a brand new soccer field, giant chess board, hopscotch, handball courts and rope additions to the existing play frame. A new Buddy Bench has also been installed. The Buddy Bench will give students a space to go to if they are looking for someone to play with. This is consistent with our overall goal at St Bernadette’s to encourage the positive wellbeing of every student, every day.
As well as being a space for break times, the new playground will be utilised by all stages for sport and other outdoor learning activities.
Our Breakout Space has also had some new furniture installed, adding to it’s already amazing appeal.

We finally finished our Minecraft puzzle today to find one piece missing- arghhhhh!!! This was certainly a team effort with students from K-6 all jumping in to put pieces in!!! This one tested out patience thatβs for sure. The purple part in particular caused us some stress and confusion but we got there in the end. Hopefully the balloons allow for a quick challenge we can complete before the holidays. ππ§©ππ§©ππ§©ππ§©ππ§©

A massive THANK YOU to our students from Kindy, Year 1 & Year 2 and their families who came along to our Parish Mass last Sunday!!! Year 1 have been working really hard this year participating in our Kitchen Garden Program!! Not only do the students learn all about gardening by taking care of βBlueys Patchβ growing vegetables, but they also then learn about cooking by using items theyβve grown. Last Friday we got excited about our major fund raiser for the year - our COLOUR FUN RUN!!!! Our goal is $10,000 and each Friday we will announce the highest money raiser for the week. Let Friday we had our first winner with close to $500 worth of raffle tickets sold! Not only does she get a prize, she also got to be spayed with colour to get us all excited!!!
