Happy happy birthday to all our JULY BIRTHDAYS! They have had a wonderful time celebrating their birthdays this month with family and friends. They had parties at home; went to Flip Out, Winter Fest & Canberra; ate chocolate cake, ice cream cake, strawberry cake & cheesecake. They were excited to get LEGO, ice skating Barbie, books and someone even got a puppy. But most of all they loved celebrating with friends at school. Hereβs to another great year ahead!!! ππππππ₯³π€©ππ»πΈ

We love welcoming parents into the school, especially the classrooms so our students can share all their fabulous learning! Stage 2 did a beautiful job of sharing their Religious learning for the term through their Stage 2 Liturgy. On our Reconciliation Celebration Day, we were blessed to have Uncle Brad come and talk with all the students to deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture. He shared Indigenous tools, their purpose and significance and also how they are made. Our students loved this time, especially being able to watch how these tools were made. This term our Year 2, Year 3 and Indigenous students, K-6, participated in the CAPTIVATE 'HoneyBee' Dance Program, spanning over 6 weeks. The program provided a wonderful opportunity for these students to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture through dance. We loved watching the performances and seeing the absolute joy on the faces of our students and the pride of their teachers as they shared their learning. πππππππππππ
