In Kindergarten we are answering the question ‘Why does caring for others bring us closer to God?’
So far this term we have been busy learning about all of the gifts God has given us in Creation by exploring Scripture.
This week students in Kindergarten are learning how to identify God’s family and what it looks like. Students were each given a balloon to blow up and release into the air.
Apart from this being extremely fun, it signified how everyone in God’s family is different and goes different ways and does different things, but God’s love for each of us is the same.
The students had a great time with the activity. Thank you Miss Antonelli for a fantastic lesson!

Stage 2 did a beautiful job of sharing their Religious learning for the term through their Stage 2 Liturgy. On our Reconciliation Celebration Day, we were blessed to have Uncle Brad come and talk with all the students to deepen their understanding of Indigenous culture. He shared Indigenous tools, their purpose and significance and also how they are made. Our students loved this time, especially being able to watch how these tools were made. This term our Year 2, Year 3 and Indigenous students, K-6, participated in the CAPTIVATE 'HoneyBee' Dance Program, spanning over 6 weeks. The program provided a wonderful opportunity for these students to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture through dance. We loved watching the performances and seeing the absolute joy on the faces of our students and the pride of their teachers as they shared their learning. πππππππππππ

Congratulations to all our super athletes who won Age Champions and Runner Up Age Champions! Our Athletics Carnival was a great day for our students to develop their skills, all the while having some fun. We were so proud of everyone on the day - especially those who participated in all the events and showed great sprotsmanship! A HUGE thanks to all the staff who made this event possible, especially Miss Savva and Miss Callanta, along with our parent helpers on the day. Thanks also to the Parent Group for offering a snack pack for our kids. πππππππππ

Happy Happy Birthday to all our JUNE babies! They have been enjoying birthday parties with friends at home, at Timezone, at the park and of course celebrating with family out at their faviourite restaurants, including McDonalds! They loved their presents, some requested and some surprises; and of course they enjoyed eating lots of birthday cake! Here's to another year if fun, family and growth!
